Mt. Mantalingahan Protected Landscape
Mt. Mantalingahan Protected Landscape is part of the Tentative list of Philippines in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
Mt Mantalingahan Range is a contiguous montane mossy rainforest straddling on the southeastern part of Palawan Island. It is a key flora and fauna biodiversity area with high degree of endemism and record number of species catalogued only within the past 20 years. Continuing discoveries of plant and animal species further highlights the ecological value of the mountain.
